Politics of Reproduction (Cornell, Fall 2023)

• This is a First-Year Writing Seminar that I developed focused on reproductive politics in the United States and Latin America. The goal of the course was to provide students practice with writing summaries, building arguments, and giving peer feedback. The course culminates in an independent research paper. Feel free to contact me for additional resources such as slides or assignments.

  • I made this resource to introduce first- and second-year college students to academic articles. We discuss the structure and main components of an academic article and I provide an outline for note-taking, which we then use to discuss all readings in class.
